Just wondering if California Early Retirement departees have applied. I hear mixed comments like "Can't get it as you volunteered to go" to "You were forced to leave, intimidated that you would be let go with a smaller LR package". LRs do get unemployment btw. Thoughts or experience?

I asked a friend of mine who used to do customer support in California EDD. I am told that ER recipients are not qualified for unemployment benefit for its voluntary nature. Those who didn't take ER but received LR are qualified. Please contact EDD to double check.
