Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Worst Possible Timing

I know there is never a good time but seriously this is the worst timing to get a RIF. Could have waited till after holidays you greedy b–tards. The amount of stress you put people trough is beyond imaginable. I’ve applied to hundreds of postings and nothing. I can’t sleep sometimes and I’m usually a very calm Optimistic person. There is little that keeps me up. You did us wrong Allstate. So wrong.

Tom Wilson has a nice fat bonus tied to yearly earnings. If he doesn’t slash thousands of jobs before the end of the year, that’s millions out of his own pocket. You think he gives an F about you and your family?? Any of you..??

Yup worse possible timing. After Christmas would have 100% better. Because at least you would have more time. Again all about timing not the fact that it was done.

There really isn't a good time. Would it be better to be kept in the dark and then get laid off just when all the credit card bills for Xmas come in?

Of course in the middle of a pandemic s—s.
