Terrible experience on site to order new iPhones... If I was a new customer wanting new service I would have clicked off of it and went to another carrier... why cant we get things right? spinning icons, page redirects, "Come back later" OOps something went wrong" very frustrating for wanting to spend $4K on new phones and accessories... What an Embarrassment

Typical T retail customer facing c-ap. They have all these mickey mouse outsourced vendors come in and schmooze management how great they can do they're make their public facing sites, then go back and sub-contract out the work, to folks who do a half-assed job, then worse customer no-service handles all the complaints, and this sh– happened time and time again.
Deal with a reputable company such as Apple itself. AT&T is not a competently managed company. Everything is outsourced to the lowest bid contractor here, nothing works, and nobody knows what is going on.
Life is too short to waste dealing with companies like AT&T.
OP, what part of “thelayoff.com” don’t you understand? In case you are dense, this isn’t “theletscomplain.com”.
The poor customer experience with the ordering systems is due to the constant outsourcing of work to vendors like Tech M, IBM, Accenture just to name a few. They don't care how these applications function or if there is a cohesive customer experience. Management is oblivious to what customers face in trying to get services from AT&T. great job Stankey.
If you go into a store, just be prepared to exchange your life stories with the sales rep. Every phone purchase, sale reps apologize for how slow the sales/provisions systems are. I can do my taxes faster than buying a phone, pretty sad.
It’s bad because they refuse to hire and retain people who can actually build and deploy a successful software product.
Yeah go to the manufacturer. Att’s website is a dumpster fire. Hey but it is secure because no one can use it lol.
Buy direct from Apple. 2 Pros and 2 cases, 5 minutes.
and you're surprised? This has happened every single year during the week after launch since they introduced the online ordering systems
and for crying out loud, if you're spending $4k on new mobile telephones you should have better things to do than whine about the purchase here
