NLR IS DEFINITELY OVERLOADED WITH WORTHLESS MANAGERS. But then again the place has some worthless directors as well. They have the good ole boy system down there that’s for sure. It’s a race to run up the stairs and get under a desk.

Mechanical is so top heavy in some locations there’s 1 manager to every 3 or 4 people they cut the glass palace which needed to be cut but then turned around and turned foreman/foreman generals into managers they didn’t need to give a 10k-20k pay bump to people to the jobs they were already doing for less. When you have managers that only walk around looking for people doing things wrong that’s a problem. Someone posted they had 1 manager to 2 employees in De Soto a while back and that makes no sense. Some locations have at minimum a million dollars in managers salaries going out the door a year, you can’t say that’s cost effective.

What craft are you in? It’s definitely not like this in TE&Y. Also, they did start laying off management before agreement. We are all considered expendable equally. I am sad for everyone that has lost their job, regardless of whether they are agreement or non-agreement.

That’s not the only location, but if the company really cared they would have started with management in the beginning not the agreement employees, or created all the new managers from the foreman/foreman generals.
