I was laid off from HPE before the merge into MicroFocus from the ArcSight Software in June 2017. I did get another job in 6 months in a security company, but I quit in 2 days. I had it with the High Tech after 40 years. Decided to retire. Got a great severance package too.
No additional WFR on 2nd of November as far as I'm aware.
What is the severance package like?

The shop has to move... no doubt. Would love to be a fly on the wall when the current leaders need to justify and explain strategies in front of investors.
I was in the operations dept and laid off on Oct 19 and I've never been happier!! I was hired at HP, then HPE, then onto Micro Focus, where software goes to die. All I ever wanted was the severance package and I got it! Woohoo!!!
The sad part is the mo–ns making the decisions to cut, what comes around goes around:)
Sales, Marketing? Ops? IT? R&D? Or across all orgs?
