Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Can we reapply?

Down the line, if some of us still haven't found a new job (or if some actually miss Allstate, as much as I think that's impossible) will we be able to reapply for our old positions? Or any other position? And if we are successful, would that affect the severance we received in any way?

If you wait to apply for 366 days, you can reapply and you do NOT have to pay the severance back. However, that depends on whether you left in good standing

if over a year no severance is to be paid back, under a year it is pro-rated.

You’ll have to pay back your severance pro-rated

You can apply, but your new hire date has to be at least one year from the day you left. Otherwise, you have to pay back all of your severance.

You'd have to wait a year to the day to apply to Allstate again. Don't let your emotions guide you. Allstate is not a good company anymore.
