@6bng+17wldxWl this isn't the Matrix.
My 10/27 was spot on. This is just the start. Tomorrow wait for the big one.
Layoffs are occurring today and from what I’ve heard Schwabbies are impacted. Sounds like some announcements coming this week
Don't let anxiety overwhelm you. Keep working, doing your job, and what happens happens. No use stressing over things right now. Sure we're in a pandemic, and sure the job market is tight. And sure you may have worry about paying mortgage, feeding your family, and so on. But just take it easy for now. It is what it is. Remember, treat this like a spoon that you can bend with your mind. It's easier to realize that you can't bend the spoon, and realize there is no spoon, and that it is you who is bending. There is no anxiety.
Some people, frankly, should have anxiety. There’s not going to be a lot of us sad to see you leave either. If you’ve ridden on the gravy train while somehow not getting fired or disciplined for subpar / mediocre performance, it’s time for you to go. It’s also safe to say that it’ll be nice to not see decisions made in Omaha for once.
DM to exchange all hands invites.
If you really think employees from the acquired company would have more job security than the employees at the company that did the acquiring then I'd like to talk with you about a bridge I'm trying to sell
Probably because the company thinks we like being called Schwabbies.
Why are Schwabbies like this?
Let me correct that for you. You, "acquired" TD, has an all hands which we, "Schwab the acquiring company", does not care about. Nothing to wonder about.
We, "legacy TD", have an all hands coming up which we cannot forward, especially to legacy Schwab. Makes you wonder..
We have a Schwab all hands coming up which we cannot forward. Especially to TD. We have officers leaving on both sides.
Remember those talent profiles from a few months ago? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
