Spinning it as performance as well. Do the m&a and then clean the combined house, no need to lie, no need to make the gone ones feel like c-ap and those who stayed as heroes for their “great” performance. I hope the middle management gets cleaned out together with their A kissers.
Surprised? When was the last time mgmt told the truth?
According to the other posters the cuts are insignificant, with natural attrition of parsley employees won’t be more than 5-10%.
We all had hope. I guess that’s the last thing you lose.
We are screwed. Middle management is bad and lost and not looking out for us. Doesn’t matter what happens we are in the hands of the clueless.

I can only think that I hope all the GOOD colleagues I left behind are secure and safe. Make your money while you can but please look out for you! Don't rely on the 15-20year folks who have drunk the kool-aid and tow the line. Do what is right for you, your career, but most importantly...your family.
