After this pandemic is over I'm expecting a mass exodus from UP. If you live anywhere near a big city where opportunities are everywhere, why would you continue to work for a place that treats its employees like this? Move on. They've moved on from you.

Mass exodus started two years ago.
How have they treated you so bad? They are a company restructuring their business organization. You might get your feelies hurt over that but doesn’t make it wrong or bad business.
The grass is greener elsewhere when you’re standing in a field of brown. And UP is a sewage plant
Trust me, the grass in definitely greener on the other side. It just goes to show how successful UP is at conditioning you to think that for a few bucks they can own you. Most don't figure that out until they actually leave. Have a little pride.
- Like the job
- Retire at 60
- The grass ain’t always greener
True. I'm one of the willing participants. Worked at a yard where we walked everything. It's going to be nice being able to walk when I retire.
There has already been a mass exodus from UP. Both willing and unwilling.
