@hjvy+180WsKg0 Sadly this reply comes from a lot retail front line workers. No one cares. But I do. I have someone at home I have to protect. Shame on ANY retail employee taking their mask off or not requesting their customer to wear one.

It is not hazard pay. It is diaper pay for babies. Man up or quit.

@hvqf+180WsKg0 This is stupidity 101. Customers don’t stay 6 feet away nor behind the glass. But you are good right?

If you are 6 ft away or behind the partition, and the customer and you are wearing a mask, this shouldn’t be an issue. We’ve been given tools to stay safe, the breakdown happens at the store level. Be the change you want to see in your store.

To the guy who asks "was it the Staten Island location " ? Most probably! because I dont work there! Because of lack of staff most stores are closing with 2 reps and 1 sm thus making the stores a security problem never mind the pandemic problem! The stores should close at 6 in these situations. Or when the 2 reps who work the early shift go home at 6! I've been in situations were the are 8 people waiting indoors for 2 reps and the reps are engaged with customers .not a stress-free environment that can cause a bad escalation. Before covid we had 5 reps closing every evening and even then some nights were tough. So until staffing improves go back to 1 shift or 4 reps working together.

Last night we had 2 reps and 1 inept sm closing a larger location near a major mall in the NYC suburbs Staffing problems you say? Yes running a location with just 2 reps. With the surveys controlling our actions. So were is the sm on duty telling our needy customers nothing about you have to have an appointment cause the 2 reps cannot handle the 8 customers that came in between 6 to 8. Reps spend at least 30 minutes avg with these people cause of the survey ( with things we shouldn't be handilng) thats another 10 pages. So the stores are a security problem and the safety of the employees are not paramount or even talked about! Its a major problem for the safety of the frontline in these situations. The store should have closed at 6 pm because of this.

Honestly if they give us the same options they did when they cut head count from stores, and closed some months ago I would be in. For those that don't know it was this hey your store is over headcount or we are closing it. You can pick relocate, wfh CS, wfh TS or severance. Take a pick. They need to offer that again for only the remaining full time employees. I know people that went every direction and they are far more happy.

Hazard pay? Hmm, door swings are way down and yet these salaries and rent are still sky high. Let's just outsource this high liability and expensive retail stuff to indirect agents. Then we don't have to worry about entitled retail employees, stores getting robbed every day or this China Virus nonsense.

Shareholders are getting antsy and we gotta pay for this 5g thing and be the high bidder at the next spectrum auction. Yeah, retail is going out the window. Watch and see...
