How long before Intel ends up being a washed up has been like VIA?
Look at what VIA does now. The possible future of Intel right there.

Last time I checked, VIA made those netbook CPUs that competed with Intel's Atom. That was over 10 years ago. Netbooks s—ed. VIA was like fabless Taiwan Intel. Then MTK rapidly surpassed them in the late 2000s. Any good people from VIA probably left to MTK and TSMC.
VIA is a good example of what Intel will become in the next few years. Intel is not competitive with TSMC, Samsung but Intel has a vast library of IP that will become more valuable than the entire TMG group. Goodbye Fab network, TD, TMG, and Hillsboro, but Intel will live on as a completely different type of company. Good luck.
