Bs is absolute!y a joke. Have never worked for a company without HR. Never needed them until crown. Hr is non existent. Departments discourage contact and laugh at/dismiss any input from bs. You speak with them you pay. Exactly why after 30 years and multiple orgs...Never needed. But I've needed at crown. If there is no hr to establish a baseline it is anarchy. That's why 1/3 of southpoint is being paid to do absolutely nothing g. Sitting on Facebook and running personal businesses. Disgrace. They're all related and cover for one another.
To whom ever wrote " how many vps... ". Spot on. I have three managers, two are related, non have prior mgmt experience, it's like working i. A family gas station. Or I should say nail salon because they're all women. Crown subsidizes the under educated trailer trash look how much money I make with no business experience sub culture in. Cecil pa. Non of these people could make a third of they're salary, and that's ge nerous, if they had to look for a job and they s— the life out of anyone that comes along that could contribute.
Let alone the people not laid off but harassed daily. If we quit they don't need to eliminate the position, it can be filled with someone cheaper. Tormented daily.
Here's a riddle. How many VP's does it take to perform a customer install? EXACTLY ZERO! Does annual calibration even exist at the management level??? Are Crown managers immune to accountability/B3 values or transparency? Why is there seemingly no penalty for managers that continually miss numbers, have redundant positions, make poor decisions, knowingly commit fraud, use Crown resources like it's their own personal concierge service, belittle direct reports, manage nobody, lose customer SR work or are simply not savvy enough to negotiate, maintain and/or build customer relationships in the first place in order to grow the business?
A lot of good people were laid off but we can see that there are several VPs still in place. The layoffs seem to be unbalanced. Why would you lay off those that are doing the work and leave many of the supervisors in place? Now there are no middle level managers that work directly with the employees on the ground. How can they be managed by the highest level? Doesn't make any sense. This is truly not what you know but who you know and that is a shame. There is a VP whose boss is a VP and his boss is a VP that has 7 VPs under her. That doesn't make logical sense. If you are tying to save money, keeping 9 VPs doing the same thing is not efficient. Keeping 1-2 VP with middle level managers, is efficient. The leadership preaches the B3 values, but I don't see that in this set up, lay off process or in the individual leadership. This reminds me of the Communists in East Germany–saying one thing and doing another. Why are we preaching one set of values and then doing something else? Don't believe the 3 Bs.
Preach safety and B3's and follow none. Cut a slew of great techs, engineers, tier 3 data..good luck making it all work now
Business support is made up of some really great talent that was shifted under that particular umbrealla soon after the acquisition of Justin Mass. Justin, his dragon lady boss, and Rebecca Stern have been driving the good people out and running that team into the ground while simultaneously circle jerking each other for being the innovative "digital transformation" leaders that they believe they are.
Justin is so full of himself it's laughable. He's arrogant and has no respect for anyone except to those in the higher ranks who's asses he's so busy kissing.
Total body count on the additional contractors???
Really terrible work environment, 3 Bs are complete bunk as is Business Support. This company deserves to be dismantled
