Why do people buy into the c-ap posted on this site 95% of which is total BS the only accurate info posted is info on layoffs after they have already happened. The speculation stuff is almost always wrong. If you have been on the railroad more then 3 months you know the railroad rumor mill is a pit of negativity and railroaders love to see everyone else in misery.

Humans are naturally drawn to pessimism. Sights like these draw people in. wether there’s truth in it or not is irrelevant.
The rumor mill is NOT always wrong. Macon,GA knew the EXACT number that was going to get cut weeks before it happened
Not sure. But ill say this. Norfolk Southern did not make a change at the top because they could. They did it because they felt the changes needed to get to .60 were not happening. With Cindy at the helm change is going to happen and I imagine someone is not going to be happy.
