Black Friday was a dud! We’re screwed!

There’s a list of 50-60 stores that will be announced/closing in January. Also full time non management will be cut drastically.
Unless you are the Store manager...take your vacation time ASAP.
The person who posted, take your personal, sick time then your vacation - I take that more as a warning that BB&B changed how they pay out your vacation.
I have received so many emails from BB&B about my vacation and changes to the vacation policy, that I'm not sure what I'll get paid for my remaining vacation.
My state covid numbers are out of control and their not doing anything about protecting us in the store. Customers come in without a mask all the time manager won't confront them and told us to ignore them. Coworkers are sick, come into work and refuse to take a covid test, manager says that's their right.
I told my boss that I'll be taking my personal and then my vacation time during these holidays. He told me you can't we need workers, I told them that's my right. So I'm sure I'll be let go during or right after the holidays but at least I won't get covid.

State laws vary regarding whether accrued, unused vacation must be paid on termination of employment. Check your state. This 🤡 is just spreading false information.
By the time black friday ends you'll hear more about layoffs & stores closing. This is turning out to be one of worst seasons so far. They'll remove fulltimers off the books before they have to match 401K in February.
Full time employees please use some of your vacation days, personal day and sick days as soon as possible. BB&B changed their time off policy recently. Trying to help those over worked full time employees-take your vacation days, personal and sick time now. The layoffs coming this time sounds like it will be done very quickly you'll be gone the next day and loose your vacation, personal and sick days.
200 stores closing = layoff coming all year long. No rumours just the facts. Still 100+ to go. 20-30 stores will be announced by end of March 2021
