Do you think there will be Prudential Layoffs 2021? Any news or rumors?

Layoffs are still happening. Anyone left now is either desperate, or stupid. They're now making people re-interview for their jobs or apply for something else when a reorg happens in order to cut deeper and to pin it on the employees that they magically no longer meet the job requirements, as a cover. We all know it's about continuing to reduce the U.S. workforce. The 'dead weight' has been gone for several years. Yet, they're still management heavy and hiring VPs left and right.
We’re there any layoffs recently, like this week?
Also I believe M consultants get a “cut” of the savings that are generated....
I agree with the post about McKinsey. Just go to their website and read their case studies.
Since you have McKinsey involved, assume 20% or more layoffs over the next 2 to 3 years. That is their “Transformation” expertise....stock will probably go up, and the senior executives get rich quicker while the majority of people suffer.....look at the annual report for AIG, it is happening there. Senior Execs got paid 200% of target bonus, while employees were lucky to get 100% of their target bonus, plus the added stress to get laid off at any time
Buckle up or get out if you can
I think PRU will get rid of the dead weight that has been wondering the halls for decades. Honestly, there are people here who do nothing. VP's that do not have any responsibly or actual work. Managers sitting around for years doing nothing. It's unreal! I really cannot understand how this continues.
It should come after performance review...
I’m sure the layoffs are coming. It’s all about transformation these days.......
Have not heard anything about layoffs for 2021.
