so a train crew test positive for covid.
They drove many units in the last 2 weeks.
The units are still out there running the rails and go to pretty much all locations.
Wheres the protection the company says they have ?
If just one crew member comes down with covid in the cramped space in a cab of a unit dont you think the other crew member is at risk ?
These 2 crew members are out of service who knows where and how they got covid but every unit they were in is just is a bomb that has been set to infect others.
These face mask just are not the fix for a crew or any other work groups that work so close together .
Beware of what you touch in all units because the company claims they cleaned the last unit they were in .
The last one what about the other units they used ?

Everything is political anymore no matter what it is. Can’t escape it. The one area you could go to get away from it ,sports, is now been corrupted.
Actually I think the point being made , the government had not made it illegal to buy c-gare–es even though hundreds of thousands of people die of second hand smoke not by choice , so it Is political . Government makes money from the taxes on c-gare–es. And hospitals make money from claiming covid thousands extra per patient. No influenza deaths imagine that in 2020.
C-gare–e smoke deaths and fast food deaths have nothing to do with COVID they are life choices made by people. COVID is a virus that you can contract without you knowing you did and pass it to a loved one and potentially cause death so please stop with the politics and educate yourself
2% of the United States have or had covid , of that over a 99% survival rate . The number of people who die from c-gare–e smoke is more than double the death rate from covid , and from eating fast foods is worse . Ask yourself is this media and political induced fear about your health or is it about control ? Tired of the bs
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the train crews haven't already had Covid. They are the nastiest employees on the system. As soon as they get on a locomotive they open every crew pack and start throwing trash around the cabs. You'd think they were on a cross country trip.
This is the perfect time for these id–ts to implement one man crews. They just need an excuse.
Keep flapping your gums about it and you will have 1 man crews before you know it. Don’t give them any ideas or excuses to push it further Jack a**, then you will have something to really piss and moan about. If you question whether a unit is “sanitized” and you feel unsafe then bring your own stuff and do it yourself (like most others do). Don’t ball around on here about it.
Then stay home. You're responsible for keeping yourself safe . Stop relying on a company to wipe your a**.

Sounds like you wont be satisfied until you are required to go get yourself tested every week, get your temperature checked every day, wear the humiliation mask at all times while on company property (no exceptions) and take two weeks off unpaid any time someone sniffles in a crew room. Hey how about calling your congressman to support any law allowing one man crews because after all that means less risk. You should also suggest ns turn the signal log into a snitch form used to keep track every time your fellow man sneezes or coughs or during a trip.
