Thread regarding SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. layoffs

It was time to let go

I was involved in the last round of furloughs. I knew I wasn’t going to return, knew none of us were - but in the beginning I had hope. Then that hope turned to anger, then despair, then sadness. There comes a time when you HAVE to move on because if not - it will eat you alive. I gave everything I had to the company and then some. There is nothing more that I want to give them. I hope everyone who was impacted has moved on, but if you haven’t that’s okay - in time you will.

You believe in Sea World?? I don't, I believe in Elon Musk and my Tesla stock.

It's tough! Spent over 20 years of my life with SeaWorld. Loyal to the end. Would do anything for SeaWorld but at the end of the day, I was furloughed. Instead of waiting around for the end to come, I found a new job. It's great to work and be with a company that is doing well. Endless budget cuts, rumors of layoffs, and stress about what axe would fall next are gone. I hope you can find a new place to go too.
