Today was disappointing with curbside. We got time and a half to stand around for 10 hours. I much would have rathered to stay home and spend time with my husband. Pretty sure expenses totally ate up sales.

Hahahaha. Yeah to be ready for Friday from 5am to 10 am for crowd of 6 customers! Your store is a trend setter. We should all strive for such excellence.
Our fabulous AST team took care of all of that on Wednesday before they left. The other colleagues did recovery Wednesday night also since there was not much traffic Wednesday night from 8 to midnight! Which there was no need to be open until midnight the day before thanksgiving. We have a productive team and we get what needs to be done, done! Again, the point was curbside was a bust especially when the company says it needs to cut costs. So instead of laying off hard working people, make better decisions with expense and operating costs.
People sitting around "bored to death"? OMG there's so much they could have been doing while waiting. Whoever was managing the team in the store that day didn't do a good job. There was recovery, put backs, returns of overdue pickups, reticketing...our two AYS people were busy all day doing other things. They even took extra register tape and CRL's around to all the registers to be ready for Friday. We only had three curbsides all day but they got a lot done and no one was sitting around.
You should all be home with friends and family. Stupid corporate CEOs think they know better, ha!
We did about 900 picks, 175 bops but only 5 people picked up on Thanksgiving
4 BOPS pickups on Turkey Day...DFW area here.
We had 5 pickups and 4 AYS folks sitting around bored to death. It was beyond pathetic.
The OP isn't talkung about PICKS
They are talking about CURBSIDE PICK-UPS. Gosh! 🤦
We had 4 curbsides all day long but we didn't schedule any AYS colleagues anyway so it wasn't a waste of payroll.
Well we helped pick too but our amazing fulfillment team ran circles around us. Lol. They were quick and efficient and pretty much took care of it all. But we only had 3 curbside pickups. We had 6 dedicated AYS people mostly staring at each other. We should have just had fulfillment and not have to stand around 2 hours doing absolutely NOTHING.
We had around 1,200 picks as well but only about 8 curbside pickups
I don’t know what you’re talking about? I was there since 6am and we had over 1,000 picks and it kept coming. I picked nonstop and I’m exhausted.
