How does Lowes contact trace? We have someone who just tested positive, and I was definitely near him for more than 15 min (in breakroom on lunch). But they told me I wasn’t affected? Wtf?

Call local health department
They don’t follow CDC guidelines. You should be quarantining until you have negative tests for the period recommended. But you won’t get paid and might have to pay for tests.
And they will blame you, our teeny break room got stupid plastic barriers.

We have had multiple associates at my store come down with COVID and have to take two or more weeks off to work through it. In every case no one else in the department was allowed time off to quarantine. By contrast our store manager took a complete month off at the beginning of the pandemic (before the rest of us even had PPE) and has missed an additional 4 weeks since due to additional quarantining. Big difference as to how the salaried vs hourly associates are treated in my store.
There is NO contact tracing at Lowe’s! We’ve had several employees positive in the last few weeks. They were around many of us for days! Yet according to our SM we’re all safe?!?! Corporate is covering up cases nationwide. Lowe’s like many other Big Corp companies is a Super Spreader of Covid19!!!!
They are forcing people to work who are positive by not paying them.

They said I can take time off to quarantine/get tested, but it would not be paid time off since they ruled me out for exposure. How did they rule me out?!?
