If it offends your senses so greatly then don’t bother to visit this site. Or at least skip those posts you find unpleasant. Who knows, maybe people will find a way to air their grievances in a way you find acceptable.
Normally people bi-ch when they're worried about being laid-off or actually laid-off. So what's the problem? No one forces you to visit this site, so STFU.

AT&T encompasses around 250,000 employees/contractors and 500,000 retirees. Out of all of that, there are about 20 cranks that washed out of AT&T and can't move on. That's what we're seeing here, mixed in with other folks that actually have something to say.
I come here in hoping any new hires run far far far away after hear about the nwo cesspool att. don't want to see anybody waste their life at such a foul company.
I just started to visit this board because I was wondering about layoff rumors for my group. And, well, I agree with the poster. Not much on layoffs. I can’t believe we really have this many stupid people at the company. I have to believe that professional short sellers are posting fake comments just to punish the stock.

While I agree this place is not a site full of mentally healthy individuals, your complaint comes at an odd time. Just this month we learned about benefits reductions a week or two before it was actually announced to everyone. while not layoff specific , i think that is a great use of the site.
Relax OP, rest assured that the beatings and layoffs will soon start again to fulfill your image of what you expect this site to be.
