Theyll continue to cut until they reach that number. As far as Juniata goes they have a reprieve until that deal with Roanoke expires. Once it is up, if they don't get the number they want thru attrition, another layoff will happen.

I hope your right on revenue growth but wouldn’t of you went after that pre peak season or even earlier then that . Now is usually a low point in freight levels. They did shed some business to a lot of short lines as well ?????

If the trend continues, there will be more families affected by May and the demise of an entire genre will almost be decimated enough to fully usher in scab contractors to fully be utilized for the work they will need done. As I read in another post of a supposed quote from the late Ferril, " if you do not have twenty years in, you won't be working for NS and if you do you will wish you weren't "! I see more folks up and quitting, retiring in any way they can or being canned! At some point when every dollar and share has been raped the powers that be will cry unto the government for aid and then have to be reregilated again because of greed!
Probably a few months after they hire them, you know; just about when they are about to be marked up!!!!
