Has anyone gotten a breakdown of the severance in writing? I cannot reconcile the amount with what I received with the amount my severance agreement said I was entitled to even when accounting for taxes/etc. I have requested a breakdown several times but have yet to receive anything from Allstate

I did not receive anything in the mail and had to call Ask HR and wait on hold for over an hour. They agreed to email the pay stub to me later that day. It was ridiculous but did appear to be accurate
All of us affected in our area had over 30% in federal taken out alone. 22% our butts. Our HR contact is looking into it as she agreed too much was taken out. And we should not have had our 401k contributions taken out also and HR again agreed. This is the petty crumbs they expect us to live off of after their unwarranted layoffs and they can't even have the decency to get that right. Especially since our state won't let us have unemployment due to how Allstate reported the severance to them as continuing pay.
I am a former Esurance employee, the taxes taken out were exactly in line with the percentage of taxes that were previously taken out on our year end bonuses. I did not receive any sort of payment breakdown after the layoff. Go fig.

All I got was a poorly printed pay stub post taxes. Strangely my severance pre tax reduced from my initial paperwork and esigned document by over $1000. HR claimed nothing changed but the HR rep handling the layoffs for my area was not at all interested in my emailing her the copies of both that showed the discreption. I have since washed my hands of the matter and moved on with what they gave me. I have put more than enough effort into this stink pot of a company and couldn't stomach dealing with them anymore. They know the games they are playing and don't care.
