i received early word from our team leaders that GCB will be undergoing a re-org, and currently there is a wave of layoffs being planned. likely due to the focus toward regulatory measures as well as covid's impact on GCB performance.
anyone have more details / info on timing and what teams are impacted?
ICG loan ops? thats where they had that big revlon fiasco. They're hiring more people to soothe regulators, I don't see where they'll lay off big in that group.

To my knowledge they never have asked for volunteers otherwise there would been many volunteering, getting their package and running. Layoffs began last Thursday.

Its hard to make up for that HUGE monetary loss that the company gave away. Layoffs are inevitable for that but reflecting on the past, I can’t think of one year in the past 10 that the company hasn’t had one. So its pretty much the norm.

Heard layoffs yesterday some in us consumer
I heard end of month. They are starting with C14 then C13 and if they can’t eliminate enough people at those levels then they will come down to C12. They are of course asking for volunteers first.
