Clap clap IBM, for non-transparency about layoffs, which are not written about in the media at all, but this will not negate the fact that the brand is rolling in the mud.
I wonder if anyone in this round of dismissal was offered a voluntary layoff? I would not be surprised if there were more such cases.

I was offered the standard 30 day notice / 90 days severance package.
IF they did request if anyone wanted to volunteer I would have accepted this package, feeling of doom lingered for last few years with leadership nobody had confidence in. I can see in the faces of my management the exhaustion in their eyes. Glad to be leaving yet sad to see how far the company has fallen as one of your Veterans on the front lines.
