JPMC earnings for 4th quarter are up 44% from last year yet bonuses and raises are down? Can someone explain this to me?

First year no increase but best year at Chase.
No raise in 4 years and I have been a strong every year
I got a great review last year and got zero raise or bonus. I drove a Chase manager to the airport in my Uber one morning and heard him call all ten of his subordinates and give them 5-10% bonuses. They were all managers. The answer is the managers keep all $ to themselves. Top down management.

I have to ask if you get a growth this year is that the kids of death that you are not getting a bonus or raise?

You dont think good performers will get the same as last year? Obviously most folks are getting less but not everyone

Bonuses and raises are approved in august and so it was certainly more uncertain then. There is a plan a budget they just decide these things in a week
