I loved my job until April or so. After we came back from COVID all heck broke loose in IHX. We are micromanaged like never before and it is miserable. The ISMs and director are all miserable too. I thought it was just a month or two and not worried but it is getting worse and worse! What happened? Even those of us hitting good numbers it is like all the fun got taken out of the job. It is a constant beat down session and I overhear leadership complaining too. I say this and I am not even in the hot seat but seeing everyone around me miserable and it is terrible. I am trying to get out now but it is hard to find something that pays as well as I get now. Should I stick it out a little longer?

What are you IHX people crying about? Being treated like the rest of AT&T now and not being the golden child any more? They probably discovered your whole channel is nothing but fraud and now you can’t make your quota!!! Hahahahahaha
ISMs get in trouble because there employees get sick? Only at AT&T! Wow!
My boss is the best ever but she is cracking under the pressure. I walked into the hub one day last week and I could tell she had been crying after a conference call. I feel so bad for her because we have let her down. We used to be a #1 team but the last two months we have struggled with people getting sick.
You know why it has gotten bad? The AVP gets on calls for the whole region and brags about how he is going to get rid of ISMs!!!!!!!!!!! Even calls with the reps on it. So unprofessional!!!!!!
I am turning in my notice this month and leaving a company I loved and bled for for 15 years! I will have to hold back so I don’t burn bridges but the new bosses in IHX are exactly what everyone here says. I am sad to leave AT&T but not sad to leave what IHX has become. I will miss those Summit trips though!
Yea the way they do headcount is what is driving everyone to quit and get fired. It is so unfair and out of our control! Also the new AVP is so cold and unfriendly! I tried talking to him to break the ice and he brushed me aside like I wasn’t worth his time. I guess I am just a tool to him and not a human being.
Leave it to AT&T to drive away the talent! All so some vpgm can get a promotion and feed his ego!

My boss acted like AT&T was the best thing ever and now you can tell she hates it. But she deserves it! She always gave us a hard time now it is good to see she sees what it is like to be treated unfairly lolol
I just moved to retail and I can tell you what the problem is. The new VP in the region is writing ISMs up for not hitting numbers based on the headcount they should ideally have and not taking into account people quitting, going out with covid, or on leaves. It puts good ISMs in an impossible position. Everyone I know is looking to get out. The morale is so low which doesn’t help with sales either. Even as bad as retail is right now, it is so much better than what IHX turned into the last few months.
The culture in ihx has gone down the toilet in North Carolina and i think it is the whole region just do yourself a favor and move on to somewhere that treats you with respect.
I have friends in IHX in Louisiana and they seem to like it. It must depend on the market

I’m an ARSM in the east (won’t say what state to be safe) and have friends who are ISMs and they all say they are looking for something else. And this is their top market or close to it! Supposedly the new leader in the market dumps everything on the ISMs. All I know is I wanted to be in IHX before but I am staying away.
Same here man and I am in Florida and never missed goal but it is crazy. My favorite is being forced to take selfies and post to twitter like everything is good. 3 years I have done this and never less than 35 in a month but I am out of here after the first of the year
