Not one store in our district came close to hitting Nov quota. Then they raise dec by 40%!?!?!?!. Not one person is motivated by this unrealistic quota during covid, when devices are now shipping in Jan. What's the point of trying when there is no chance of hitting quota? We can literally sell nothing and still hit a .90 multiplier. Just focus on being nice at least you have a "chance" at multiplying your check. And by chance I mean until they move the goalposts back again. Upper management needs to get back into the stores and see how retail really is now. They are in lala land. I guess this is Verizons way of saying Merry Christmas to the front line.

We don’t “owe” the company. It’s a mutual agreement to work together.
And to top it all off which none of you mentioned, in our district manager continuously say "we owe it to the company" "it's time for us to pay it back for everything the company has done for us"

Leadership knows what they are doing. They want the stores to look bad. Verizon doesn't want to be in the retail business. They haven't for years.

I bet you are one of those reps that “work hard” spending two hours with a customer getting a screen protector and only getting paid $500 in commission each month so you definitely did get a raise. But for the rest of the people that actually worked and made $80k-$100, it was a low blow... Yes, I am looking for another job because this one s—s and I’m sorry you don’t see it that way but it sounds like you don’t strive better for much...
The Fact Of The Matter Is That “They Simply Don’t Wanna Pay Us”!! Yet, surprisingly, All the Upper Management (Useless Folks) are still getting paid Top Dollars. Just a matter of thought...
Just remember they literally can't do anything to you. Enjoy your hourly and coast. Don't count on a commission check... They will be 300 bucks before you know it.
The goals are so ridiculous that I'm just going to make sure my effort metrics are good and coast the rest of the time. Im going to do just enough so they cannot officially write me up. Forget it. The goals are too damned ridiculous.
Verizon raised the bar on RiS multiplers because too many stores overachieved. Imagine being punished for something you did well for the company.
Upper management don't care they are pushing propaganda that all these changes are better and you will like it. Krista is a true used car sales person. She told us the new schedule tool would allow for better work life balance and know your schedule 4 weeks out! Lies no way to ask for a day off and I have yet to see a schedule out 4 weeks!
As for pay. A moving target for RIS, and how we get paid. Yet again bate and switch.
Actively pushing customers away from the store. Training employees to basically send customers away as they raise targets.
The black friday promotions were complex and just turned customers away. If someone has TMO or sprint monthly bill cost is a big deal. So what is the idoits at Verizon do.. make employees qoute out more expensive price plans to get promos.
The number of CPE device changes for devices coming from Apple or Samsung directly.
Customer care reps now offshore. Core reps now contactors who are clueless. System issues all the time (Business 360).
So why is anyone shocked over the crazy qouta?!?
