And so it begins with the upcoming sell off, good luck everyone...
July 1st is date for people to exit with package.
Senior level geoscientists were impacted too.
Heard that Geohazards & Survey got the axe today and that their roles will be outsourced.
Typical.
Next round of cuts imminent. The recent hike in oil price has been ignored, winter is coming. Atmosphere, albeit remote, is much much worse than when we sold the shale business. Nothing positive, depressing depressing depressing. I thank the lord for small mercies that I’m not in project services, there’s a glimmer of hope for the rest of us.
Project Services incompetence continues. It’s no surprise when the HOP hasn’t got the experience, integrity or know how to lead the group. At times like this we need we need real leaders not tokens or imposters. Come on BHP put folks who know what they are doing in the right seats...!!!
If you think BHP should base their future based on $60 oil you’re part of the problem...!!!
$60 oil says something different
Business being primed to be sold, no one in their right mind would invest in BHP oil and gas “world class assets”. Group should ditch it ASAP
Any engineering or geoscience staff/management get cut?
Just one Project Services Manager in Petroleum, unfortunately he was the only one that made any sense out of the madness ...!!!
Have any layoffs actually taken place now that it is almost late January?
