Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Luckily, I spent time wisely while furloughed

The only saving grace of being furloughed (at least for me) is that I took the time to network and polish up my resume. I spent the last few months looking for other employment because I knew that the odds of me going from being furloughed to being laid off were high. And I was right, since it just happened. Thankfully, it hasn’t hit me as hard as most because I already have two solid employment opportunities waiting. It's a good thing that for the last few months I’ve had the company in my rearview mirror and refused to look back.

Fantastic job Poster. You took control of your future and didn’t leave your fate it in other peoples hands.
