I'm thinking about all the things people got fired over and I'm coming to realise they are now dumber than ever. Reasons that trample on human dignity and result in a total atmosphere of fear among employees. I noticed that I myself am waiting for them just to invent some reason as an excuse to get me fired.
It is nothing but humiliation!
Maybe looking for an alternative is the best we can do.

I was one of them that was targeted back in June and July. Performance issues that were borderline fraudulent. Numbers were very similar to my coworkers in the same dept, some categories higher some lower. I was one of the highest paid and had the most years service. I decided to quit and move on vs wait for a HR decision in 30 and 60 day tracking. Total bull$$it. I had been so fed up and disgusted by the treatment and working conditions I decided to resign. They had destroyed my loyalty long before this. I now look back and realize this was all part of the plan, evil ba$$tards. One less severence to pay. So glad I'm out, never felt better.
