Heard through the grapevine that electricians are cutting the throats of the firemen oilers by getting their LSE license. Where's the unity now SCABS

Well lets see electricians are a skilled craft foreman and oilers are just dumb laborers, maybe they should have tried to be more than the least common denominator in life , its not cutting of throats mote like using of brains.
Glad I’m laid off. Don’t have to worry about any of that.
Composite mechanics are what they are after. Erasing the lines of crafts and breaking the back of unions. Do as your told or your insubordinate. Cheaper when you only need one guy in a truck to to the whole job. It’s been coming for years with all crafts. They want Carmen to do conductor work and conductors to do carman work. ( Carmen work under three step and conductors inspecting cars and doing air test) conductors running remote locomotives. Not to mention locomotives being fuel by contractors just out side of the shop doors. It’s all twisted and the ground work is set for future crafts being absorbed by each other. It’s been done in the past and will continue in the future.
Machinists and laborers will both be gone thanks to the s— as scabby electricians

LSE is limited service engineer license. Shops that have f/o jobs such as a test track, in order to hold one of those jobs one has to test to get said license. They operate them up to 30 mph at the shop I work at.
