Goldman, along with Citi and JP, already have presence in Texas... Irving to be exact.
I am interested I'm working for Goldman Sachs Florida and so can you put me in touch with the right person? I am in to get a good salary and enjoy that outdoor life
NY taxes are too high to maintain headquarters there. And no one wants to live in NYC after the riots and the virus. Real Estate is collapsing in NYC. Also, working from home is the new normal, so companies can utilize less office space that is shared by employees staggering their time in office. The covid will be here to stay for the next decade. You will only be able to work a couple days in the office and have to work from home.
They will move HQ to Texas or Florida, no income tax for employees and less taxes and cheaper commercial real estate for the company.
Salaries will be much less than what they paid in NYC.
I dont know about the hq but I saw the y are moving some of the asset manager arm.
I am at a rival firm now but I'd move to florida to work for you guys and so do you have any more details as I am in mid career. Thanks
