You all will just get more market teams. One TL and three ATLs combined teams less mgmt. work in a Bison store. I am in a trial store.. you are on for a huge wake up for 2022. You will hate it.

Even STLs are losing allot of say in things that they once had input in. As far TL and ATL go I don't think they could get rid of them I could see them make them go to salary over hourly though.

That's just an explanation for why you think ATLs/TLs should be let go. Why and how would it work? Who would take on the responsibilities left behind? Are you just suggesting that current leadership will be let go and Amazon/WFM will bring in cheaper leadership?

Why? Because they get paid more than the market rate. Do some research on what people who used to be TL or ATL at WFM are doing after they got let go or left. Mostly they drive with Uber. It means other similar grocery retailers won't hire them and you know why? They were getting paid too much for the job they were doing also they accumulated no worthwhile knowledge over their time at WFM. In short their ego is too big for the real world out there and my hope is Amazon is going to put them in their place.

Why would TLs and ATLs get let go? Please explain why that would work.....other than in the distant future where robots perform every job.

I can picture that TLs and ATLs are immediately starting to create some scenarios to make TMs look incompetent so that TLs and ATLs can stay relevant while influencing the decision-makers in corp
That's how they have been working the system at WF for years to end up where we are now
People say a lot of things blaming Amazon for everything. But many of us know the downfall started a long-ago way before Amazon bought WF.
I hope Amazon is not as dumb as WF leadership and see this through

More micromanagement. More erosion of benefits. Higher turnover rate.

Maybe 2021 be the year they quit pretending to honor the core values.

AI can replace functional managers’ function eventually. TLs and ATLs are functional managers

Is that wishful thinking? Why would they let TLs and ATLs go? Every dept at WFM is way too unstable to not have department supervision every minute. Nothing would get done.
