Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Good news for the worker?

Are we ever hear some good news for the worker. For example, we'll give you this or that. What do you think. They are just taking... Is there a way to stop this?

Listen to you programmed slaves. Money to union bosses? Don't you get it? Form your own union and take charge. Unthinkable to slaves that have been taught the binary lies since birth. High paid corrupt union bosses? How is that any different from high paid corrupt company bosses. It's not a coin with only two sides. Make a third or fourth choice, the power is yours. At least a bunch of union bosses have not been sending millions of jobs overseas and disposing of their fellow Americans. The ones who made the inventions that these criminals claim as theirs. I give up on you, you are only slaves. I'd expect more loyalty from a dog and more sense from a parrot.

LOL! Think for yourself...by ceding power and money to a bunch of sleazy union bosses. Now that is hysterically funny. 😄

I can tell you from past experience with HON that management dispises a Union. So I say-bring it. What could it possibly hurt? The company will do as it wants in the end anyway-so why not make mgt as miserable as we are??!!

The only good news you'll get is an offer from a better company or the notice that you've been RIF'd. Either way, the other good news is that you get to leave the corrosive culture and get a real career.

I also wouldn't vote for a union. Pay excessive salaries for union leaders from my paycheck? No thanks. (I am familiar with the Chicago area unions)

I also worked for a company that if I moved a box from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor I'd be hit with a claim. Sooo, I sat for 2 hours to have someone else move a box 1 floor upstairs.

Of course unions are the way to go. They protect workers from greedy corporations. Of course if you say 'Union', you're a Socialist. What a lie. If unions are so bad, why does everyone say the police unions are necessary? People lie to you, opposites are both good and bad depending on who says it. Don't confuse authority with power. Don't be slaves. I am going to say something very dangerous, 'Think for yourselves'.

Top CEO, Execs set the tone. Not much you can do except find another company less greedy.

Unionize. What a freaking joke. Unions are useless. Their only interests are what's in it for themselves, not the members. They are worse that the corporations. Dirty, greedy, corrupt and lazy. And now union guidelines are used as a crutch by the companies to use to hold back promotions and raises and benefits to the employees. Unions out lived their usefulness by about 40 years. Not to mention, they don't represent most employees in their political tendencies.

Unionize...get the heck out of here with that BS.

Unionize! Collective bargaining is the way to bring the corporation to the table to negotiate what you want.
