Instead of having a relaxing breakfast with my family and getting ready for tonight I'm here checking to see what's the latest thing PepsiCo threw our way. I'm at a point where nothing would surprise me, including a layoffs announcement today of all days. If I doubted before that it was the time to leave this company, now I know for sure.

My department is actually looking forward to getting axed.
I have been here over 35 years. It used to be fun here. Now i am so ready to go and hope they offer some early retirements in 2021.

I know how you feel. I felt like that for several years until I got the axe in 2019. It is so easy for others to say to just s— it up and leave but as many of us have/had pensions we had no choice but to stay. Am thinking of all of you left there and hope it all works out for you. Sorry that you feel hating PepsiCo. I suggest that you explore drawing out a strategy to exit. I did it and it was the best decision I made. Complaining and feeling hatred won’t get you anywhere but if you shift your thoughts in a positive way things can change in time. Put up the effort and have faith that you can pull this one off. You can do it I did.
