If it's any consolation, Cisco is worse than us.

Common in any mature publicly held company. The only places without layoffs are firms that are experiencing rapid growth, and as we all know, that doesn't last long.

When people are "constantly anxious" about losing their job, they go find a new one. There is no mass exodus out of Oracle.
Sounds like the number of employees asked was not high enough to mean anything.

So, out of ~140K employees,six said the they are worried about layoffs. How many were contacted for the survey? Is is safe to assume that most who failed to respond aren't worried?

Funny, Cisco used to be a crown jewel to work in. Everyone wanted in. Times sure have changed.
