The energy industry and the world are changing.
To protect and enhance value for shareholders, we believe ExxonMobil must change as well.

Why not expand the board?
Exxon should merge. And the name Exxon. Be done away with. 100%
Those people are crazy.
Right
Troll
Who are the experts though ? And why have they allowed the company to end up where it is now?
Don't care about the board. I am very suspicious of the engine 1 guys. Seems to me they are a very small share holder ( 1%) but talking as if they own 51% of the company. Similar to the EMIT folks giving advice on a gas project that happens to use computers for workers.
Since you don't have skin in the game and it does not hurt you whether the company thrives in its core business or not, your suggestions are unwelcome and useless. Making slick websites does not make you expert in O&G business. Sooner you understand that better will it be for you.
Yes! Yes! Engine1 board members have committed to never travel by air since it uses jet fuel.
They put their money where their mouths are! True heros!
I am ok with not taking any vacations to help mama earth!
This company is dying a slow death like so many mega corps before it. When it was good, it was really good and for a very long time. Nothing to be ashamed of. Now just ride this thing into obsolescence or go somewhere else.
Who is engine1 and what are their motives. That's what I'd like to know. Be careful what you support.
Slick looking website but your proposed board members don't look all that impressive in my opinion. Not saying change isn't needed just not convinced this is the dream team to take on the challenge.
Do you think people on a layoff board give a damn about shareholders? They seem to be doing just fine with their sacred dividend. Who is going to look out for the workers? Maybe if you demanded change to protect shareholders AND workers we'd give a rat's a– about your little crusade.
