I lost my job at Macy’s in June when they laid off a lot of us and tonight I got a direct deposit of 0.01. Wtf is that? Anyone else get a penny and a small amount?

A penny is electronically deposited to verify the account is still active. It should be followed by what they actually want to deposit.
