I always knew that HR was never there because of the employees, but I hoped that maybe in some cases they could be a place of support and help for us. What a mistake. They simply do not take our interests into account at all. I had a little problem and I felt silly after asking for their support. I wonder if there is anyone here who has ever been helped?

Ask Brad how HR helped him out in a crisis situation. They kept him in a multi million dollar job that anybody else would have been fired just for making a remark to a female coworker.
When the next round of layoffs happen, the guy in charge of HR will stare coldly into your eyes while an outside consultant reads a prepared statement explaining your severance package benefits. No compassion and no remorse. He wants to see how much it hurts you to be let go. Don’t give him the satisfaction. Hold you head up high and take it like a man who’s secure in the knowledge that there is something better in your future. So when you’re going about your daily duties, keep that in mind. You are a number on a spreadsheet to the C-Suite and nothing more.
Never it’s a good ole boys club. Was never comfortable going there and nothing was confidential. So don’t trust anything you need keep personal because it’s not. The buddy system at large. You are better off finding an outside resource if you can for an answer. They are like a Venus fly trap waiting for their next victim to s— in and consume.
HR is run by one of Holly's disciples. The only way you'll get help if you have APC tattooed on your bum. This place is crooked from top to bottom. HR should be neutral, but just look at the last layoff and tell me how many of Brad's people got let go. Let me give you a hint: zero. They don't care about anyone outside of their little circle jerk. HR is only there to protect and promote the chosen. The whole org is a fahking disgrace and that includes HR. A company that size doesn't need a VP for everything, but they still think they are going to magically grow. They add layers as 'growth positions'. They are living in an alternate universe where shale companies are going to rise from the ashes. More cuts are coming. Brace yourselves.
