Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Any New Layoff Rumors?

Personally my metrics have been suffering due to a combination of tools (programs) constantly malfunctioning, LOTS of claims that are submitted by members that are denied about 99% of the time, those same claims having multiple dates of service with multiple processings of the claims, way more angrier members, a shortage of employees that have experience (lots of newbies), and management nitpicking everything little thing we do. With all that I figure they must be trying to get rid of experienced members. My soul is crushed and I can't give any more. With that being said has anyone heard about reducing E & I Tier 2 positions?

Check stock price. The investment community has a bottom for United. It is 330. Once it breaks the 330, something will have to be done. Note the range is 330 to 462.

You have some time. Lots of work to plan a large layoffs.

Nothing specific but E&I has probably been the weakest area as far as profitability the past few years. C&S a close second. I think presentations by Golden have given clues and it was hit last year and likely again this year. Sorry to hear they are making things extremely difficult to do your job.
