Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Business Sales

So if I understand it correctly, TJ Fox’s group (VZ Biz Sales) was under by $400 million dollars. Does that mean if you’re in the business channel the pressure is about to become real? T-Mobile has some REALLY aggressive pricing and so does AT&T. I feel like a lot of customers today just want to pay a cheap bill. They don’t care about haircut Hans and his network anymore.

Fox’s biggest contribution when he was in CS was insisting on changing the automatic email footer when using a smartphone.

Don't worry. The top marketing award winning expert Diego will figure it out. Don't forget he came up with pastel Ice Cream Cone posters and the ingenious S, M and L price plans. Oh, the worst time in sales

Don’t worry they’ll make that back by jacking up everyone’s quota in the VBG. Source: am in the VBG and my quota is f—ed.

This company will never understand that price is a major factor in for business and personal customers, our network is not as superior as it once was, the other carriers are catching up, but we keep resting on our " network superiority " and other premium bull we spew to customers....95% or the people I help could care less about hulu or Disney, what they care about is how much their damn bill is going to be every month, why the id–ts at the top can't figure this out is beyond me....and we are bleeding customers to TMO like no other, we just had a meeting about it. Free discovery channel for a year isn't going to sway a customer, having a bill be $40 or $50 a month cheaper will!!
