Chevron moving Corporate HQ to Houston
PDC announcements were subdued because of the reorganization, but they were posted on Workplace. There are quite a few people who were out of scope for the reorg and are now eligible to change positions. Best advice is to set job alerts for yourself and stay aware of job postings throughout the whole year, and don’t rely on being told about opportunities.
I am looking over the 2023 jobs myself. Some of them look kind of interesting, I may put my name in the hat for a couple, in fact.
There's still lots of people whose pay depends on running PDCs. PDCs are also a nice cover for re-distributing demographics to meet the D&I quotas. Expect all future PDCs to be rather subdued in both number and advertisement.

Drilling is doomed as it is not good for short term cash flow. I expect our rig count to fall every year going forward.

I saw a manager job in Wells posted, but the preferred criteria said looking for diversity candidates only, white males need not apply...that's cold...
I think he meant Spring 2021 starting in March. Either way, these PDC events are nothing more than shuffling employees around to obtain the quotas they are looking for. The PDC only runs cover for HR and Corporate in advancing the needed gender and demographic quotas. Don’t get your hopes up if you are thinking of applying for a new job.
