Claims

When is home office going to realize that claims needs to be seperate from receiving . We just don’t have time to do both jobs... our managers are so focused on receiving and only pay attention to claims when it starts looking like c-ap. Our GM doesn’t get it ... he keeps blinders on then expects miracles ... we hardly have a 2nd shift so that leaves 1st shift doing everything .. RTV’s are not being done ... home office needs to get a reality check

Yeah but all the technology makes everything easier!!! I love when there's a "Receiving line 1" page and both backroom associates are on lifts unloading water, paper, clearing the dock,, checking in vendors, clearing the dumped empty pallets, among other things. I simply shout that the office clerk will get that call! A resounding yes to the notion that home office decision makers have never even seen how operations in a fast paced receiving department. pure nonsense!! But hey at least the DJs are back!!!

"Who ever made the decisions for the back room teams clearly has NEVER worked in a club."

I'm positive that could be said about every department in the club. Bentonville Brains are very out of touch with what it takes to run these departments correctly. Fewer associates isn't going to make people work quicker & more efficiently. It is going to increase mistakes, accidents, & shortcuts in processes.

Absolutely true. And who looks at the way delivery appointments are being made. Some days it’s impossible to unload and run freight to the floor in just three hours. Who ever made the decisions for the back room teams clearly has NEVER worked in a club.
