Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Lack of communication?

Is it just my individual case or does this company have a big problem with lack of communication?
It creates daily frustrations for me and a lot of confusion. The goals are completely unclear.
Due to poor communication in this company, my morale is lower than ever.
What are your experiences like?

"giving your life to a company that would forget you in a moment." Never truer words said.

It's intentional. Well orchestrated that 'lack of communication'–keep the debt and tax slaves on edge, glued to a job with no rights. Yet, they all show on monday bc they HAVE to and they know it. The US corporation owns us. With employment at will doctrine, any day for any reason or NO reason, could be our last. us empire reality.

I got a new boss. His first communication 1:1 was to lay me off. Never look into my job performance or even spend time to see my work.

You are correct. There is a huge lack of communication. Unfortunately too many people are too busy to forward needed information. It's a "figure it out for yourself" environment.

Couldn't of said it better myself. There is NO communication between anyone about anything ever. S—s that this is the norm around here. But hopefully someday it wil come back to bite them. There are so many things that are already failing due to the lack of communication. Not sure why everyone at the top fails to see this.

You must be excellent with ambiguity - it is nature of culture & the business. If you’re not, it’s simply not for you.
