What is the policy for associates leaving the club on their break to go get food? I always thought that you can't leave the parking lot if you are on the clock. Our deli associate or one of our meat cutters go to McDonalds almost every day while on the clock. There 15 min break becomes 30 minutes at least.

Club Manager sending associates to get them coffee. Off site on the clock. So, yeah, do whatever you want on your breaks and lunches, it’s a free for all.
TL's and Management are the ones that ask "their favored ones" to make a run or what they want at the food truck, the local Starbucks, McD's, wherever! It's like they are exempt from this sh! But you are the one choosing to work there and that is how that company is. Unfair...yes! Rude...yes! Will it change? He no!
When you are not on the clock (meal or lunch break) the time is your own. During 15 minute breaks you are still getting paid - therefore on company time, therefore it is unethical to not be on the premises.
Mind your own business!
When the person goes around asking for orders from other associates its pretty easy to know what they are doing. And when you go on your break and they are in the break room with breakfast and stay there after your 15 minutes, I would say they are stealing time.
Good grief could u be anymore petty? Here a thought worry about ur own job and stop worrying about what someone else is doing. It's not like they are signing ur check and ur not signing there's. Mind ur own business. If u were working u would not have time to notice where they were going. Good Lord.
policy says they prefer you dont but it doesnt say your not allowed ..sounds to me like the poster needs to get back to work and mind there own business
It's called stealing time and a management issue.
whether you are allowed or not how could you possibly leave and come back in 15 minutes?
Not on break just lunch
Extended break? We just had an associate red coached for taking extra time on their fifteen minute break. It's called "stealing time."
Any and every one has access to policies on the wire. The last time I reviewed it, you are not suppose to leave premises while on the clock. Regardless, extending paid break is misuse of company time and is suppose to followed by TL/mgr...
