Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Is there anyone who regretted leaving?

I haven’t been here for a long time and I want change because nothing other than decent pay attracts me to this company. I feel like I’m stagnating and I don’t want to waste any more time here.
I had the opportunity for another job in a much smaller company, which brings together a lot of quality people from whom a lot can be learned. It seems like a very good option. Still, I hesitate because I don’t want to make a big mistake (like the one I made when I came here).

I don’t regret one bit about leaving. My biggest regret was not leaving sooner. The hardest was that ADS paid above market and other employers couldn’t match what I was earning. Enough is enough. Just take a smaller paycut when offered!

ADS hand down is the strangest company I worked for. Although the pay and bonuses usd to be good, it couldn't be offset with the true believers who completely lack any sense to manage a team. The sheer number of people who came out of the call centers and brought that operationalized approach to an office environment showed they were unable to make the transition. ADS made things so complicated and hindered progress, they are now experiencing the fruits of not evolving with the times. They always clinged tightly to the past and the thought you could continue to double in size every five years caused the machine to crack. After both ring masters left – Ed (by choice) and Melissa (by outset), the truth was revealed. It's also telling that people who were let go in October 2019 and still don't have jobs shows what ADS does has no value in the real world. Personally, I would advice you to get out. Do your research, do some networking and get out while you have a choice. Nothing worst than having a lot of people looking at the same time.
