Your webcast was powerful and insperational. Cost cutting is what is needed to make AT&T great. Now, let us get real. John, how much of debt would we need to cut if the C suite had not made so many blunders in the last few years. I said your webcast was powerful and insperational. Your webcast powerfully inspired me as a tenured employee to know my place.

Stinkbug and the Rat - paid millions to lose billions.
I was on the original webcast but I had to watch the replay just to see for myself how much editing was done. Surprisingly not much editing, I encourage all employees to watch the replay. Then ask yourself if this is the leadership that can save AT&T? Is there anyway present leadership can remove the $170B boat anchor from around our necks? Do employees, in general, have confidence that AT&T will survive?
The blunders is water run under the bridge. The real question is, will the same leadership team (board, executive officers) deliver a different and better result?
Vanguard and Blackrock steer the wheel at AT&T. It's up to them to field an alternative slate of directors, and the annual meeting is not far off. It's probably too late.
It's hard to be inspired buy the guys that have caused this company to sink like a stone . And when I see Randall being recycled for millions of dollar, well, it just makes me feel hopeless for the future.
