Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Optimal number of employees?

I hate this job and I’m only here because I can’t find an alternative. I’m totally burned out because I’m doing work for multiple people. I don’t know how they even think of continuing the business with so few people. Not sure what the optimal number of people would be to keep Hertz afloat, but this is definitely not it.
I’m not afraid of being laid off, because they literally don’t have anyone to lay off anymore, and that’s not even necessary, because people are leaving on their own.

They are in trouble. With the skeleton crews the company is running any uptick in business is going to be a disaster. The company has reached out to bring people back but those people have realized how badly Hertz has treated them and have moved on and found greener pastures and want no part of returning to this dumpster fire.

Hiring a new work force is an option but with the below average wages the company pays they will be hard pressed to find qualified, reliable staff.
