Sad to see the company no longer investing in employee training. No more education reimbursement. No more classes except CBT.

What am I talking about? Are you kidding me or from the training group? The fact that ECMs are now a five year program should tell you something. When I hired if you didn’t finish in under two years you were risking PIP. They also eliminated the education reimbursement program. What training there is now is extremely limited.
I suppose it doesn’t matter because with all the firings resulting in 12 hour workdays there is no time for training anyway.

Not sure what you're talking about. I've taken a few company sponsored trainings as well. I've gotten a lot more out of that versus some 3rd party trainings tbh...
The CBT courses are nothing more than Risk Management requirements for Law. "See? He took this CBT and signed off (while being pressured by his FLS and SLS to keep the KPI's looking good for the asset). We're sorry he was injured, but it's not our fault."
Education is still paid for select individuals under the radar. It’s all about who you know sleep with or brown nose.
You don’t consider having to take endless cyber security CBTs, endless safety CBTs designed for elementary school kids, and non-stop business practice review classes training? You are a tough one to please.
Yes! Because the HR and managment got rid of most of their CLO org. employees. Training and learning is no longer important and piece of total compensation benefit, just like with like new ranking process no one is job security, anyone can freely move any buckets, get pip'd and out the door. It is now year on year survival. Those that has kissing and s—ing skills will def. survive.
I never consider CBT to be training. It’s to take up space and for legality.
ECM completion moved from 2-3 years to 5 years to allow sufficient time to train your BTC replacement
Only training they are allowing us what is regulatory requirement
Not sure what business line you're in but I've been taking vendor trainings this year, but it's a pretty critical area so ymmv.
