Employee pay raises in AMS not till August

We have been told that employees who are given rasies won't see any increases till August and not everyone with a positive review will get a raise. There is no mention of the percent increase or amounts either. BUT the company can appoint Dawn Rogers and Akihiko Washington to serve as members of the Board, effective as of March 4, 2021 with all benefits of being board members. I call it bull sh*t!

Year after year of minus pay rises and they wonder why keep asking about pay on the town halls.

No point ignoring it or coming up with "everyone will be reviewed" but not get a rise. It's just bull talk in the same sentence.

People aren't stupid theres no point of a review or appraisals if you still keep getting minus % rises.

the company continues looking for enough clients to buy their new service/product (which seems to be only to just talk) . Does the company even have the skilled people to actually deliver a service/product. So if you need a company that can talk about transformation (to what is unclear), and you can get time with one or two of the people that have the knowlege, go for it. You can help save them.

By all means feel free to give up, not take part and refuse to play along... Of course, I get it, I've been here a long old time and it's a p1sstake ever since lawrie rolled into csc.

However, if this is the moment that things change, what I can assure you is that you will be missing out.

But let's see.

Folks, open your eyes. This year will be like last year, and the year before that, no raises. Its all empty talk for no other purpose but to keep you entertained and working at DXC. Stop dreaming. Last year I didn't write a single comment in my review. This year I didn't even bother to read it my review. It doesn't matter one way or the other. Stop dreaming. No raises.

Employees are eligible for this round of rises if left handed, over 60 and bring both parents to the award interviews.

Some employee's, those that Do Not asK & Keep Low Yearly Salary - otherwise known as 'DONKLYS' are a vital part of the DXC 'revenue stabilisation' engine, relied on to boost quarterly numbers. Managers identify this group for special attention - Payment of company expenses from personal funds, input 150% hours and often willing to take part time weekend work... The Donkley has unexpectedly become a product of DXC - without which they would go under.

Finally, the people who never qualify, they come to DXC on excellent salaries, lick part of the business nobody else would, then f£&K off when they realise they've acted a bit like a Mr. Careless from Mr Men.

DXC $15.5b revenue this year, if the CEO shouts really loud next year (I mean really howls at the 🎑) he should manage to stabilise down to about $12b

Same hog wash of bluster and talk, no action of payrises as promised from top since Lawrie was in charge of CSC and then DXC, not with 2 years in job still no action from Sal, very doubtful we going to see any sort of improvement within this company.

August but which year 2025?

At the rate they keep fobbing off that's the realistic date. Mike has been post nearly 2 years and yet no pay rises, actions speak volumes.

One thing is talked and the outcome is the opposite, how can you trust these statements?

Will the management forgo their stock options?

@jbf+19I4J7Ca "I think there are no noises about an across the whole employee base raises."

I think the problem is there are a lot of people who haven't had a raise for some time, if lots of people don't get raises then they will continue to be cynical of leadership, demotivated and not as productive as they could be. To turn DXC around it needs a motivated and passionate workforce, payrises would go a long way to repairing the damage with the workforce.

I think there are no noises about an across the whole employee base raises.

There is a lot of speak of a transparent process though, so in theory you should at the very least understand why you didn't get one.

The only non-transparent thing I've seen though is that right now everyone's appraisals are being sent to Big Brother for "calibration". Can't say that fills me with confidence, that sounds like old skool CSC bugg3ry - "only 1% of employees can be rated 1" - bell curve and distribution and other forms of denying you the appraisal rating you have earnt through hard work.

Which of course then has a knock on effect on raises....

I'm hoping to God that is not the case any more but it sounds like it probably is.

On the last CEO Townhall MikeS said everyone's pay would be reviewed this year, with a view to rises being made in, I think, July time.

He also said whilst everyone would be reviewed it didn't mean everyone would actually get a raise, it would depend on the employee's performance, the business unit's performance and where the employee sat on the payscale - i.e. there is a lot of 'wriggle room' to not give a lot of folk rises.

For me he has been talking about 'doing the right thing' and 'rewarding employees' for a long time now, I have very little faith that we will see broad spectrum payrises......
